Desktop browsers

Please note that clearing your browser cache will clear your browsing history and log you out of any open accounts (i.e. email). Please save anything you're working on, like an email draft, before clearing your browser cache. Your bookmarks and saved passwords/auto-fill information should not be affected if you leave those clearing options unchecked.

Chrome 62

  1. In the browser bar, enter: chrome://settings/clearBrowserData
  2. For "Clear the following items from," select "the beginning of time" from the dropdown menu.
  3. Select the following:
    1. Browsing history
    2. Download history
    3. Cached images and files
    4. Cookies and other site and plug-in data
  4. Click the "Clear Browsing Data" button.
  5. Close all tabs/windows and re-open the browser.

Firefox 56

  1. Click the 3 horizontal stacked bars in the top right corner.
  2. Select "History" from the dropdown menu.
  3. Select "Clear Recent History."
  4. For "Time range to clear:" select "Everything."
  5. Next to "Details", click the down arrow and select all items.
  6. Click the "Clear Now" button.
  7. Close all tabs/windows and re-open the browser.

Microsoft Edge 40

  1. In the top right corner, click the three horizontal dots. 
  2. Click "Settings."
  3. Under "Clear browsing data," click the "Choose what to clear" button.
  4. Select the following:
    1. Browsing history
    2. Cookies and saved website data
    3. Cached data and files
  5. Then click the "Clear" button.
  6. After the "All Clear!" message appears just below the "Clear" button, close all tabs/windows and re-open the browser.

Internet Explorer 11

Note: On January 12, 2016, Microsoft ended support for Internet Explorer versions prior to version 11 . Please update your version of Internet Explorer to the latest version (version 11) or switch to using another browser listed above (suggested). 
  1. Select the Gear icon in the top right corner 
  2. Scroll over the "Safety" menu option and select "Delete browsing history..." from the sub-menu options
  3. DESELECT: Preserve Favorites Website Data
  4. Select the following:
    1. Temporary Internet files and website files
    2. Cookies and website data
    3. History
  5. Click Delete. You will see a confirmation message at the bottom of the window when the process is complete.
  6. Close all tabs/windows and re-open the browser.

Safari 11

  1. Click on "Safari" in the top left corner and select the "Clear History..." menu option.
  2. In the "Clear" dropdown menu, select "all history." 
  3. Click the "Clear History" button.
  4. Close all tabs/windows and re-open the browser.
